When I first started planning this wedding style shoot, I was very intentional about who I chose to be a part of it.  I invited women from diverse backgrounds who are incredibly gifted in their talents, most of whom are small business owners.  It was important to me that I showcased not only creative unconventional floral designs or painstaking intricate detailing on the wedding cake, but also the passion and strength behind these professionals who generously gave their time in presenting their craft. The discipline in calligraphy and stationery work, the power of photography that grabs your heart and makes you weep, the beauty discovered in dreams that are woven into gowns and shoes, veils, hairstyles, precious jewels, French confections and a venue’s decor -- these very important pieces all came together because of successful women. How lucky was I, that they all had my back.
