“When I first decided to plan a wedding, within three months no less, in the middle of a pandemic but right around the time when it seemed like we were about to come out of it with everything reopening and vaccines providing us with some protection, I was just thinking that it was going to be something small, casual, and affordable. While I am used to planning events, I realized that being the bride at your own wedding meant that it would be really hard to take care of a lot of the small (and big) details the day of and that I really needed a wedding coordinator. When I first made contact with Christine, we had a really great conversation where she was able to provide me with lots of ideas and asked me questions about details that I would have never considered. I could totally tell that Christine was a pro at wedding planning. However, I was trying to keep costs down and initially couldn't justify spending the money on a wedding coordinator, even though she was fairly reasonably priced compared to other coordinators. So, I continued to plan on my own for another month before I finally came to the conclusion that the cost to have someone professional to help me out was worth it. Luckily, when I reached out to Christine again, she was still available. For the next two months, Christine and I communicated practically everyday, working out all of the details to the timeline, adjusting to new and last minute changes, and sometimes, Christine would be a source of emotional support by being positive and encouraging when things seemed to go wrong during planning. On the actual wedding day, when people tell you that you will be really busy, that is definitely the understatement of the year! I barely had time to talk to anyone and was constantly on the go. It was hard for me to know what was going on half of the time. But, having Christine there, to coordinate with my vendors and everyone else who was helping out, and dealing with any issues that came up, allowed me to enjoy the day without stressing out about the small stuff. While there will always be little things here and there that go wrong, Christine was able to take care of all of that stuff and make everything proceed without a hitch. I had so many of my guests tell me that they had such a great time and that it was about as perfect a wedding out of any wedding that they have ever attended. While some of it had to the do with being lucky with the perfect weather and full moon while eating outdoors on a patio with a view (and probably going out and partying for the first time in a long time!), Christine was a huge part of what made the entire day an enjoyable experience for myself and everyone there. In retrospect, hiring Christine was definitely one of the best decisions that I made in planning this wedding and I highly recommend her services!”
